Ceist:

322 Mr. Ryan asked the Minister for Education when payment of the outstanding accounts relating to Mary, Queen of Ireland national school, Toberburr, St. Margaret's, County Dublin will be finished, given that the residents of the area are carrying the burden of this account for the past 12 months; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The school project which was in the hands of an architect in private practice was completed in 1982. However the final account, final certificate etc. was not submitted to the Department until August, 1989.

The final grant payment was made to the school authorities on 2 October 1990.
