Ceist:

139 Mr. Carey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if the records branch in his Department have received correspondence from a firm of solicitors (details supplied) in County Galway regarding the position of a commonage at Knockbeha, Caher, County Clare, amounting to 223 acres which has been sold to Coillte Teoranta; and if he will indicate when the official reply will issue.

Correspondence has been received from the solicitors in question regarding a commonage at Knockbeha, County Clare. Unfortunately it has not been possible to reply to this correspondence to date due to the transfer of the relevant section to Cavan. The transfer is now almost complete and this case will then be dealt with as speedily as possible.
