Ceist:57 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for the Environment if he will respond positively to a request received (details supplied) from Youghal Urban District Council, County Cork.
Written Answers. - Youghal (Cork) Tenant Purchase Scheme Applications.
The closing date for the receipt of applications under the 1988 tenant purchase scheme was 31 December, 1988. Applications received after that date cannot be considered under the terms of that scheme. I understand from the council, who are responsible for the adminstration of the scheme in their area, that an application was not received before the closing date in this case. It would not be possible to make an exception by accepting an application after that date.
