The reactor grant due to the person named will be paid in early January.

108 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for payment of a farm modernisation grant to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo as a matter of urgency.

The grant will be paid as soon as possible.

John Ellis

Ceist:

109 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a reactor grant will now be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The reactor grants due to the person named relate to reactors removed from the holding in 1984. The grants were withheld because of the herd-owner's failure to comply with the conditions of the disease eradication schemes. The herdowner was informed accordingly at that time.
