Ceist:140 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in completing registration for a small portion of land (details supplied) in County Mayo.

I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this is an application for first registration about which it was found necessary to raise a query with the applicant's solicitors. The application cannot be processed further until the query has been satisfactorily discharged.
