156 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the very serious traffic situation which exists at the village of Collon, County Louth, which re-occurred on Saturday, 8 December 1990 when an articulated lorry overturned in the centre of the village; if he will now take steps to rectify the matter; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As indicated in my reply to Questions Nos. 235 and 351 of 24 October 1990, Louth County Council have submitted proposals to my Department for works to improve road safety to Collon Village. These proposals are currently under consideration.
