186 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment when a driving test appointment will be granted to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if his attention has been drawn to the fact that a previous appointment made two months ago was cancelled by the tester.
This person presented a vehicle for a driving test on 17 July last for which he did not hold the necessary category of provisional licence and consequently the test could not be conducted. A test will be arranged for the week commencing 28 January.

I regret that this person's original appointment notice was issued in error for the Cork instead of the Mallow test centre. A test has been arranged for 17 January.
