196 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Health (a) the total number of claims in respect of public liability, made against each of the eight health boards in the years 1980 to 1990 (b) the number of claims settled in the same period and (c) the average amount of each settlement and the total amount paid in respect of all claims.
197 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Health (a) the total number of claims in respect of public liability, made against the Mid-Western Health Board in the years 1980 to 1990, (b) the number of claims settled in the same period and (c) the average amount of each settlement and the total amount paid out by the board in each year.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 196 and 197 together.
