207 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Education the number of teachers who can expect to qualify for contracts under the EPT scheme in the outside centres of Limerick City Vocational Education Committee for the school year 1989-90.
208 Tomás Mac Giolla asked the Minister for Education the number employed as teachers by Limerick City Vocational Education Committee in the outside centres, such as the jail, youthreach, youth service, the handicapped, (a) a permanent capacity, (b) a temporary capacity, and (c) a part-time capacity; the number of these who are fully qualified for permanent wholetime positions; and the number of hours which were worked by each teacher, in the outside centres, in each school year since the 1984-85 school year.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 207 and 208 together.
It would not be in accordance with the normal practice of my Department to divulge detailed information of the type sought by the Deputy relating to the teacher staffing situation in an individual VEC.
