Ceist:213 Mr. T. Kitt asked the Minister for Education if she will give consideration to the provision of a comprehensive school attendance service for the greater Dublin area.

A recommendation on the extension of the boundaries of the areas of responsibility of the present school attendance committees is one of the recommendations of the recently published report of the review body on primary education. The recommendations in the report are having attention in my Department at present.
