235 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education whether she will make suitable school transport facilities available for a disabled student (details supplied) in County Cork for whom transport by car was provided to national school in Bantry, and who is seeking similar facilities to enable him to attend secondary school.

It has not been possible to make suitable school transport arrangements for this student. My Department has, therefore, offered a grant towards the cost of private transport arrangements from his home to Bantry post-primary centre.
