Ceist:38 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will ensure that in future the board of the Industrial Development Authority will have a representative from the Cork area.

Appointments to the Industrial Development Authority are made on the merits of the individuals concerned and the contribution they can make to the work of the authority. It would not be appropriate to specify that appointees should come from any particular area.
