Ceist:70 Mr. Lowry asked the Minister for Finance when he proposes to include Thurles, County Tipperary in the decentralisation programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As the Deputy may be aware, earlier in the year the Government announced its decision to extend the decentralisation programme to five additional centres throughout the country.
I regret that Thurles, County Tipperary, was not among the centres chosen for this extension to the programme from the many locations considered.
