Ceist:80 Mr. Cosgrave asked the Minister for the Marine when it is proposed that the fish auction hall in Howth harbour, County Dublin will be operating; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Howth (Dublin) Fish Auction Hall.
The provision of an auction hall at Howth is one of the projects proposed in my Department's fishery harbour development programme 1989-93, which was announced in October. Design of the building is currently in progress. Subject to availability of finance, the auction hall could be expected to be operational in about two years' time.
