123 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Education if she will arrange to have finalised the transfer of the land behind Blakestown community school, Dublin 15 to St. Peregrine's GAA Club, as already agreed; and if she will indicate when the transfer will take place.
My Department are currently considering an offer by St. Peregrine's GAA Club to purchase part of the site at Blakestown community school for the development of playing facilities. Consultations are also ongoing with the board of management of the school in relation to the terms of a proposed agreement for the future use of the facilities by the school. The necessary arrangements will be made for the transfer of the land when agreement on the terms of the sale is reached with all the parties concerned.
