Ceist:47 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange early payment of a rebate of PAYE income tax to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayer ceased employment in December, 1989, and subsequently submitted a claim for repayment of tax on the grounds of unemployment to the Inspector of Taxes. The inspector wrote to her on 26 April, 1990 enclosing a return of income form for 1990/91 for completion. On receipt of this form, duly completed, her application will be dealt with and any refund due will be made.
