Andrew Boylan

Ceist:

64 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a reactor grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The reactor grant due to the person named will be paid in early January.

Michael P. Kitt

Ceist:

65 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when cattle headage grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

Payments to the person named under the 1990 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes are being processed at present and will issue shortly.

Charles Flanagan

Ceist:

66 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when suckler cow and beef premium grants will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

Payments to the person named under the 1990 suckler cow and beef premium scheme are being processed at present and will issue shortly.

Liam Aylward

Ceist:

67 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for payment of TB reactor grants to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The reactor grant due to the person named will be paid in January.

Louis J. Belton

Ceist:

68 Mr. Belton asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, in view of the hardship suffered by farmers with locked up herds, he will give an assurance that he will expedite the payment of reactor grants to alleviate this serious problem.

I have been informed by the director of ERAD that every effort is being made to pay reactor grants as soon as possible.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

69 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will make headage payments to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

Payments to this applicant under the 1990 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow premium and special beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue shortly.

Noel Dempsey

Ceist:

70 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the farm development grant which was approved and passed for payment on 16 November 1990, for a person (details supplied) in County Meath, will be paid.

Two grants, which were recently certified, will be paid as soon as possible. A further grant in respect of farm buildings cannot be paid until the applicant furnishes the necessary documentation.

John Connor

Ceist:

71 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if livestock headage will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway before Christmas; and if there is a delay in payment, if he will outline the reason therefor.

Payments due to the spouse of the person named under the 1990 cattle and equines headage, suckler cow and beef premium schemes are being processed and will issue in early 1991. The delay in payment has arisen because of change of ownership of farm.
