Ceist:94 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for the Environment if he will consider reducing the blanket licence fee for owners of several greyhounds as the present fee is generally regarded as too high.

I have no proposals to reduce dog licence fees; these at present stand at £5 for a licence for a single dog and at £100 for a general dog licence entitling the holder to keep any number of dogs within the functional area of the local authority concerned.
