198 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Education if her Department will grant recognition to a teacher (details supplied) in Dublin 13 to teach his supplementary subjects in vocational schools; the reason for the delay of one year in deciding this; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The academic qualifications of the person referred to are currently being assessed in my Department in relation to his eligibility for appointment to a teaching post in a vocational school and in relation to the particular subjects involved.
