Ceist:134 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment when it is proposed to pay the remaining housing grants outstanding to a person (details supplied) in County Meath.

There is no record of the receipt of an application from the person named at the address given for a new house grant. Applications for the £5,000 "surrender" grant are handled entirely by local authorities up to payment stage. No certificate for payment of a "surrender" grant to the person concerned has been received in the Department from the local authority.
