202 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if the Garda will investigate whether amusement machines in an arcade (details supplied) in Dublin 6 are being used for gaming purposes by use of a pin number accumulating winnings over a number of visits; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
It is not the practice of Ministers for Justice to disclose whether the Garda are carrying out an investigation into a particular individual or establishment, unless there are exceptional circumstances which warrant such a course.
If the Deputy has information to the effect that breaches of the law are taking place in a particular establishment, he should report the matter to the Garda.
