Ceist:205 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Justice the number of car thefts in Cork city in 1989, 1990 and to date in 1991.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 204 and 205 together.
The only information which is readily available on this matter is set out in the tabular statement below. Figures for 1991 are not yet available. It is assumed that the question is also intended to include vehicles taken without the owner's consent even though this does not constitute stealing in the strict legal sense.
