Ceist:230 Mr. Wyse asked the Minister for Health the increase in the allocation of finance which the Southern Health Board received for 1991; and the proportion of this which will be used to pay increases in salaries.

The Southern Health Board's 1991 non-capital allocation is £149.026 million, an increase of 4.2 per cent of the equivalent 1990 figure. The proportion of increased funding devoted to pay increases is about 70 per cent.
