260 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in paying a grant for furniture and electrical work to the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; and if she will now arrange early payment of these grants.
My Department are awaiting reports on the provision of school furniture and the installation of an alarm system at the national school in County Kilkenny referred to by the Deputy. Payment of the appropriate grant will be made to the school authorities as soon as the reports have been received.
261 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education when various grants in respect of school equipment and materials will be paid to a school (details supplied) in County Carlow.
Payment of a grant in respect of equipment for the school will be made shortly.
