Vol. 406 No. 3

Written Answers. - Offaly National School Extension.

Charles Flanagan

Ceist:

262 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the very serious problem facing parents, teachers and children attending a national school (details supplied) in County Offaly for which tender documents in respect of structural works have been prepared for some time and await ministerial sanction; and if having regard to the circumstances of the case, it will be treated as a priority.

I am fully aware of the situation at the County Offaly national school referred to by the Deputy. The matter regarding the extension to this school is being kept under review and the seeking of tenders will be authorised at the earliest possible date.
