75 Mr. Stafford asked the Minister for Health the current situation in relation to the future relocation of St. Joseph's Children's Hospital from Temple Street to the Eccles Street site; if he will give details of the move; and when the undertaking is expected to take place.
I expect to be informed soon of a decision by the heads of the religious orders responsible for the Mater and Temple Street Hospitals regarding the future arrangements for the governance and management of these two hospitals on the Eccles Street site. I will then be in a position to establish a project team to plan the development and I will request the team to report to me quickly. While it is not possible at this stage to give the precise dates sought by the Deputy I can assure him that I am anxious that this project proceeds as quickly as possible.
