224 Mr. J. Fahey asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the urgency in having a person (details supplied) in County Waterford admitted to Waterford Regional Hospital for a hip replacement operation; if he will outline the length of time the patient is on the waiting list; and when the patient will be admitted.

I understand from the South-Eastern Health Board that this patient is not, in fact, on a waiting list for a hip replacement operation, but that he will be seen at an out-patient clinic in Waterford Regional Hospital within the next three weeks.
