Ceist:100 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Finance if he has any proposals to introduce surplus sika deer into areas of the west of Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

There are no proposals at present to introduce sika deer to the west of Ireland. It is not the policy of the Wildlife Service to introduce wild deer into new areas.
