Vol. 406 No. 7

Written Answers. - Douglas (Kerry) Embankment.

Michael Moynihan

Ceist:

101 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Finance if he will outline the proposals of the Office of Public Works in relation to improvement works to the embankment at Douglas, Killorglin, County Kerry, so as to prevent widespread flooding of adjoining lands.

The Office of Public Works do not have any immediate proposals to undertake improvement works to the embankment at Douglas, Killorglin, County Kerry, which forms part of the Maine catchment drainage scheme. However, the situation will be kept under review in line with the responsibilities of the office to maintain the completed works of the Maine scheme.
