Ceist:317 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Education when she will sanction the necessary finance for the provision of an all-Irish second level school for Kilkenny city; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

An application for the establishment of an all-Irish post-primary facility in Kilkenny city has been submitted to my Department by County Kilkenny Vocational Education Committee. The application is currently under examination in my Department and I hope to take a decision on the matter as soon as possible.
