Ceist:

29 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Finance if he will provide an office of the Revenue Commissioners in Clonmel, County Tipperary, in view of (a) the fact that it is the biggest inland town in Ireland and (b) the urgent need for such a service; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I am advised by the Revenue Commissioners that they are not aware of an urgent need for a Revenue office in Clonmel and that, in their opinion, the town of Clonmel is adequately serviced by the Waterford tax office.
