Written Answers. - Foreign Military Aircraft.

52 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of foreign military aircraft which were granted permission to refuel in this country in each month from July 1990 to date.

Foreign military aircraft require permission to land in the State. Such landings may be for refuelling or other reasons and no separate statistics of refuelling by foreign aircraft are kept by my Department. Figures for the number of foreign military aircraft which have been given permission to land in the State have been supplied to the Dáil in respect of each month from July 1990 to January 1991 in response to questions from Deputies.

Information in respect of landings for the months of August and September was given to the Dáil in response to written Question No. 80 on 24 October 1990. Information in respect of the months of October, November and December 1990 was given to the Dáil in response to written Question No. 110 on 30 January 1991. Information in respect of landings in January 1991 was given to the Dáil in response to written Question No. 54 on 14 February 1991.
Information in respect of landings in February and March 1991 is provided in the following tabular statement.

53 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of foreign military aircraft which were given permission to overfly this country in each month from July 1990 to date.

Information in respect of the number of foreign military aircraft which were given permission to overfly the State has been supplied to the Dáil in respect of each month from July 1990 up to January 1991 in reply to questions from Deputies.

The information which the Deputy requires was given to the Dáil in respect of the months of August and September 1990 in reply to written Question No. 79 on 24 October 1990. Information in respect of the months October, November and December 1990 was given in reply to written Question No. 109 on 30 January 1991. Information in respect of the month of January 1991 was given to the Dáil in response to oral Question No. 52 on 14 February 1991.
