Ceist:106 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she is in agreement with the decision by the regional technical colleges and the universities not to award points for the new maths course at leaving certificate level.

I am aware of the decision referred to by the Deputy. The question of the award of points and the entry requirements generally to third level institutions are a matter, however, for the authorities of the institutions concerned.
