Ceist:108 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she will outline her views on the proposals by the Dublin Institute of Technology to grant bonus points for post-leaving certificate courses run by the Dublin VEC.

Discussions have been held by my Department with officers of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee on this matter. Further clarification is awaited and it would be inappropriate for me in the meantime to comment further on the matter.
