Ceist:133 Mr. McCormack asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to retain seven teachers at St. Anne's national school, Rosscahill, County Galway in the coming school year.

The staffing of national schools for a particular year is determined by the enrolment in the school on 30 September of the previous year.
As this school had an enrolment of 205 pupils on 30 September 1990, the authorised staffing of the school for the 1991-92 school year is principal and six assistants.
Therefore seven teachers will be retained in St. Anne's national school for the 1991-92 school year.
