Ceist:178 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Health when an incremental salary structure will be awarded to nurses employed on a temporary basis by the South Eastern Health Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Temporary Nurses' Salary.
The question of granting incremental credit to nurses employed on a temporary basis is the subject of ongoing discussions with the unions in accordance with recognised industrial relations machinery.
Any agreement emanating from these discussions will be applied throughout the country. In these circumstances it would be inappropriate for me to make any statement on this matter.
