Ceist:199 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the percentage of the proceeds from the national lottery in 1990 which will be allocated specifically for sport and recreation amenities.

Of the £73.047 million which was disbursed from the proceeds of the national lottery in 1990; £11.125 million or 15.23 per cent was allocated for expenditure by the Department of Education on sport and recreation amenities.
The comparable figures for 1991 are £89.512 million, £11.079 million and 12.38 per cent.
