Conservation and presentation works at Newgrange have been completed and are at an advanced stage at Knowth. A large portion of the Knowth site will be opened to the public within the next few months. Road improvements are in progress. Planning has advanced on the provision of a visitor centre and ancillary facilities and a site is being acquired. Consultation has taken place with various local interests.
