Vol. 409 No. 4

Written Answers. - Visa Refusal.

Michael Moynihan

Ceist:

196 Mr. Moynihan asked the Minister for Justice if he can advise the Irish relative of a person (details supplied) of the grounds on which he refused her a visa when she proposed to visit her aunt (details supplied) in County Kerry for a short holiday.

Following due consideration, my Department refused to grant an entry visa to visit the State to the person referred to in the question. I am satisfied that the decision was correct and I do not propose to alter it. It has not been the practice to disclose reasons for the refusal to grant a visa and I do not propose to depart from that practice.
