Vol. 409 No. 9

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Frank Crowley

Ceist:

70 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether a headage grant payment has been approved for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if so, when payment will issue.

Payment to this applicant under the 1990 cattle and equines headage scheme has already been made.

Michael Noonan

Ceist:

71 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East): asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a grant under the beef premium scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

This applicant has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1990 special beef premium scheme as he did not maintain the number of animals on which he applied for premium for two months as required under the terms and conditions of the scheme.

Jim Higgins

Ceist:

73 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when it is proposed to pay sheep headage and beef premiums to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

This applicant has already been paid his 1990 sheep headage scheme grant. He has been requested to submit cattle identity cards in respect of two animals applied for under the 1990 special beef premium scheme and when he does so his eligibility for grants under that scheme will be considered further.
