Vol. 409 No. 9

Written Answers. - National Lottery Funding.

Alan Shatter

Ceist:

114 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for the Environment the total amount of moneys sought by each local authority this year from the national lottery allocation of his Department; the projects in respect of which each local authority has sought funding.

The number of grants recommended to me by each local authority under the amenities/recreational facilities grants scheme, 1991, is set out in the following table.

The preparation of a statement giving details of each of the 3,607 projects involved would absorb a disproportionate amount of staff time. In any event, this information might more appropriately be obtained directly from the local authorities whose responsibility it was to process the applications.
