Vol. 411 No. 6

Written Answers. - Meath School Development.

John V. Farrelly

Ceist:

125 Mr. Farrelly asked the Minister for Education if she will outline the current stage of progress in relation to a school (details supplied) in County Meath; if money will be made available this year for this development, having regard to the serious condition of the premises at present; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Tender documents for the proposed extension and adaptations to the school in County Meath referred to by the Deputy have been completed and the question of the invitation of tenders is being considered in the context of the 1992 budgetary situation. A decision on the matter will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date. In view of the Deputy's interest I will communicate with him when there have been developments.
