Ceist:159 Mr. Andrews asked the Minister for the Environment if he will include in the new Garda station in Dún Laoghaire a road taxation office; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - New Motor Tax office.
Dublin Corporation already operate two motor tax offices in the Dublin area. I could not, in present circumstances, sanction the staffing and financing of a third office. Motorists have the option of renewing their motor tax through the free postal facility provided by my Department and a significant proportion of them now avail of this.
