Vol. 412 No. 5

Written Answers. - Driving Test Statistics.

Theresa Ahearn

Ceist:

170 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applications received for driving tests in all driving test centres nationally; the number who were unsuccessful at each location; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The information requested is set out in the following table.

It should be noted that, during the period to which the statistics relate, the number of tests substantially exceeded the number of applications; the ratio between the number of unsuccessful tests and the number of applications is not, therefore, a meaningful one.
