I move:
That for the purpose of an Act of the present session to make new provision in respect of patents and related matters in substitution for the provisions of the Patents Acts, 1964 and 1966; to enable effect to be given to certain international conventions on patents; and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to make provision for the charging by the Controller of Patents, Designs and Trade Marks of such fees as may from time to time be prescribed by the Minister for Industry and Commerce, with the sanction of the Minister for Finance."
