Vol. 413 No. 9

Written Answers. - Income Supplement Entitlement.

Tony Gregory

Ceist:

180 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Social Welfare if a person (details supplied) in Dublin 7 whose sole income is a £48 per week corporation pension is entitled to any allowance to supplement this income.

We have no record that the person in question is in receipt of any pension or allowance from my Department. The details provided by the Deputy are not sufficient to determine the nature and extent of any benefits to which the person may be entitled.

If the Deputy contacts my Department, arrangements will be made to have the matter examined without delay. Alternatively, the person concerned may wish to call to my Department's Information Office at Gandon House, Amiens Street, Dublin 1, where his entitlements will be fully investigated.
