Ceist:

220 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for the Environment if he has made any further contact with the British/Northern Ireland Department of the Environment and Du Pont concerning the possible national toxic waste incinerator at Maydown, County Derry; and if so, when these contacts were made and if he will be making any further contacts in this matter.

There have been no meetings at ministerial level since the meeting of the Anglo-Irish Inter-Governmental Conference on 31 January last but Du Pont have kept my Department informed of the development of their proposal.
