292 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if his Department and the State agencies under his control have prepared a safety statement as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989.
A safety statement for my Department as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989, is in the course of preparation at present.
I have no function in relation to the preparation of safety statements in the State agencies under the aegis of my Department, which falls within their day-to-day responsibilities. I have, however, requested the agencies to furnish the relevant information to the Deputy.
