Ceist:98 Mr. Barry asked the Taoiseach if his Department and the State agencies under his control have prepared a safety statement as required under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989.

A safety statement, as provided for in the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 1989, is in the course of preparation for the Department of the Taoiseach. The safety statement will apply to the entire Department, taking into account any local factors and arrangements pertaining to bodies under their aegis.
