Brady asked the Minister for Finance the amount paid in stamp duties in each of the last three years, and the number of instruments stamped; the proportion of those instruments which were conveyances on sale of land as opposed to mortgages, debentures, share transfers or alternatively, the proportion of the duties paid which were attributable to conveyances on sale of land.
